One River School of Art Holds Open House in Allendale

One River School of Art and Design in Allendale recently held its Freeze Fest Winter Open House where kids and teens participated in studio and digital activities in their classrooms and participated in a collaborative sculpture activity. Winter Camps and new Adult Art Sessions were highlighted as well. Bubbakoo’s Burritos Opens in Oakland

Bubbakoo’s, a build-your-own Mexican food eatery, opened recently on Ramapo Valley Road in Oakland. NJ Dance2Inspire New to Mahwah

NJ Dance2Inspire opened its doors in Mahwah last month, offering programs for kids of all ages, like Showstoppers, a non-competitive dance team that allows young dancers the chance to show their love for dance at fun events. Classes are open to students as young as 2 (Minis) as well as jazz, hip-hop, tap and ballet to dancers through high school age.

RPAC Dancers Present Holiday Show

The Ridgewood Performing Arts Center presented its annual Holiday Celebration in December at Bergen Academies in Hackensack. More than 100 young dancers ages 6 to 17 performed in the show, which celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah. The dancers in Act I performed from The Nutcracker as well as dances celebrating Hanukkah. Act II was a dance interpretation of The Night Before Christmas with narration by Irish tenor Ciaran Sheehan and featuring dancing elves, candies, fairies, mice and snowflakes. RidgewoodPAC.com
